Audiences allows you to segment your contacts for the specific purpose of sending email or SMS campaigns.

This update will move all Mailing Lists from the Contact section to the new Audience section within Campaigns.

Similarly to Mailing Lists, if enabled, you can give recipients the option to selectively unsubscribe from each list individually or stop all communication.

Please Note: If you are providing the option for your recipients to unsubscribe from individual Audience lists the name of the list will appear the same for them as it does for you.

View all existing "Audiences":

To do this simply click on the button located in the left panel called "Audiences":

โ€‹Create a new "Audience":

  • Click the button "New"

  • A menu will appear on the right which will prompt you to define your "Audience": Group Type, Group Name, Tags, Permissions and Marketing details.

  • What's the difference between a Smart and Static Audience?

    • Smart Audience - similar to a smart contact group where contacts will automatically be added to this group if they meet the filter criteria you have created. For example, if the filter you add is 'Tag = London', any time a contact has the tag 'London' added to their record, they will automatically be added to the group. The same applies for if the tag is removed, they will also be removed from the group.

    • Static Audience - unlike a smart audience, you will need to manually add or remove someone from this type of group.

  • When all the necessary information is filled, click on the "Save" button to finalise your Audience.

Managing an "Audience":

To modify an existing "audience" simply click on it.

From here you can customise it as you want using the filters you are already familiar with:
